Algerian Ministers of Commerce and Export Promotion, Tayeb Zitouni, and of the Knowledge Economy, Start-ups, and Micro-enterprises, Yassine Walid, recently held a strategic meeting aimed at facilitating business creation in Algeria. This meeting is of paramount importance in the government's continuous efforts to promote entrepreneurship and stimulate the national economy.
"Reducing the time and costs associated with these procedures, while establishing a clear roadmap for the complete digitization of the business creation process”
During this meeting, the ministers emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between various ministerial departments to simplify administrative procedures related to business creation in Algeria. The main objective is to reduce the time and costs associated with these procedures, while establishing a clear roadmap for the complete digitization of the business creation process.
One of the key measures discussed during this meeting is the establishment of a dedicated technical commission for business creation. This commission, composed of officials from the relevant ministries, the National Center for Trade Registry, and the National Agency for Individual Entrepreneurship, will be tasked with facilitating and expediting the process of business creation in Algeria. Its goal is to enable business creation without the need for physical visits or document submissions, within a very short timeframe.
"A digital transformation that will facilitate business creation and stimulate innovation and economic growth”
This initiative marks a major turning point for the Algerian economy, offering a path towards a digital transformation that will facilitate business creation and stimulate innovation and economic growth. By committing to modernization and efficiency, Algeria enhances its competitiveness in the global market and positions itself as a leading economic destination in Africa.
Furthermore, Tayeb Zitouni announced an ambitious vision for Algeria, positioning it as the economic hub of Africa by 2025. This vision is based on the economic diversification of the country and the promotion of key sectors that generate significant added value. In this perspective, the fourth edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF), scheduled to be held in Algeria, is seen as a strategic lever to achieve these ambitious goals.
