Thousands gathered to shape, discuss, and celebrate the future of connectivity at the MWC 2024, Telecom Congress organized by the global leader Huawei in the Botswanan capital last February.
On this occasion, authorities from the host country, Botswana, reaffirmed the pivotal role of information, technology, and learning in economic success and called for cooperation among stakeholders.
Minister Segokgo stated that Botswana is pursuing a digital transformation and mindset change agenda aimed at integrating and mainstreaming information and communication technologies (ICTs) in all sectors of the economy.

David Zhang, Managing Director of Huawei Technologies Botswana, stated that the company is committed to enhancing the capabilities of its marketing and service systems by optimizing processes and technological tools.
