With a professional experience in business development, financial management, project management and business strategy, Leila RWAGASANA joined Irembo, a fast-growing Rwandan e-government service that offers online government services (passport or ID card application, copy of criminal record, marriage certificate...) at the end of 2016.
After working as Business Development Manager and Acting Director of Operations, Leila RWAGASANA has been Irembo's Director of Partnerships since July 2020. In this role, she oversees Irembo's clients and partners, among others, as well as the company's business development, which has been growing rapidly since its launch in Kigali in 2014. Mandated by the Rwandan government to digitize all government services, Irembo launched its platform, IremboGov, in July 2015. The e-service, which digitally processes millions of requests each year and helps citizens efficiently access public services, is now familiar to all Rwandans.
