As head of the World Bank's Digital Development (DD) department, Boutheïna GUERMAZI leads a team that advises policymakers around the world on issues related to the use of digital technologies, while working closely with private sector operators. The digital cluster designs, among other things, investment and technical assistance programs to improve broadband networks, mobile networks, cloud infrastructure, the Internet of Things, and massive data analytics.
Boutheïna GUERMAZI, who has served as a telecommunications consultant to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Sector Reform Unit, also leads the Digital Development Partnership (DDP), a multi-donor trust fund focused on global digital development.
